NCRC is offering cave rescue training at Camp Pinnacle, NY 6/7/2024 – 6/15/2024. This is a lot of fun and you can learn some great skills. They will be offering Level 1 – 3 classes and TOFE. Also – the grotto is offering at total of $900 in scholarships to help with the cost of registration (amount of each individual award depends on the number of qualified applicants). The Colorado Grotto voted to award scholarships to the 2024 NCRC training at Camp Pinnacle, NY to Colorado Grotto members that are in financial need. The application deadline is 2/29/2024. Scholarships will be decided by 3/14/2024. To apply for a scholarship please send a message to the treasurer (Mary Klaus) and include the following information:

* Are you a CG member (you need to be)?
* Are you a CO resident or full time student in Colorado (you need to be)?
* Are you an NSS member (you need to be)?
* Cover letter to include caving resume (what have you done for us lately?) and how this training will benefit the CO caving community (what will you continue to do for us?).
* Statement of financial need.
* (Optional) Letters of recommendation – if the committee members don’t know you well this may help your case.
